Mineola came out on top against Quitman on Friday thanks in part to Mahayla McMahon's efforts. McMahon scored four runs while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances, which was good enough to set a new career-high in runs.

Looking ahead, McMahon and Mineola will face off against Scurry-Rosser at 5:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Mineola is a perfect 4-0 against Scurry-Rosser going back to April of 2019, a lead they'll look to extend.
