It was another big night for Marcus Allen, who dropped a double-double on 18 points and 11 rebounds. He has been hot recently, having posted 15 or more points the last three times he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Triston Wilson, who scored ten points along with seven rebounds and three steals.
When it comes to explaining why Windermere Prep lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brandon Bass jr.. Despite the final result, he scored 28 points. Bass jr. is on a roll when it comes to points, as he's now scored 15 or more in the last 11 games he's played. Samuel Shoptaw was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds and five assists.
Norland's victory bumped their record up to 11-8. As for Windermere Prep, their loss dropped their record down to 14-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Norland will take on Northwestern at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Northwestern focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Friday. As for Windermere Prep, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Florida (Holy Trinity Episcopal Academy is ranked 41st, while Windermere Prep is ranked 22nd).
