Spiers has been consistent recently: she hasn't  tossed less than five  strikeouts in 13 consecutive pitching appearances. Spiers was also big at the plate,  firing off two  home runs and five  RBI while going 3-for-4.
 Spiers wasn't  the only one making solid contact as  six players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was  Ava Swift, who  scored a  run while going 2-for-3.
 Elizabethtown's victory was  their sixth straight on the road, which  pushed their record up to 19-2. As for South Oldham, they are  on  a  three-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 9-6-1.
 Both  teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Elizabethtown will take on Meade County at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Meade County will roll in looking for their  fourth straight  win, something Elizabethtown surely won't give up without a fight. As for South Oldham, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Atherton at 6:00  p.m.  on Thursday. Atherton's pitching crew has only allowed four  runs per game  this season, so South Oldham's hitters will have their work cut out for them.
