Meanwhile, Columbia Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They strolled past Legacy Academy with points to spare, taking the game 86-72. Winning may never get old, but Columbia Christian sure is getting used to it with their third in a row.
Columbia Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Connor Irizarry, who scored 22 points. Another player making a difference was Nolan Walker, who scored 17 points.
Riverdale Academy's victory was their third straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-6. They've been dominating during the matchups in that stretch too, as they've won by an average of 48 points. As for Columbia Christian, they are on a roll lately: they've won four of their last five matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 20-9 record this season.
