The Mt. Vernon-Enola Warhawks will face off against the Baptist Prep Eagles at 7:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Mt. Vernon-Enola will be strutting in after a  victory while Baptist Prep will be coming in after a  loss.
Mt. Vernon-Enola is headed in fresh off scoring the most  runs they have   all season. They blew past Wonderview 15-5 on Monday. The  win was some much needed relief for the Warhawks as it spelled an end to their four-game losing streak.

 Tucker Henry made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out eight batters over  5.2 innings while giving up just two earned  (and three unearned) runs off   seven  hits. Those  eight  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was even better at the plate,  getting on base  in all five of his plate appearances with three  runs, four  RBI,  and one  stolen base. He has become a key player for Mt. Vernon-Enola: the team is 2-1 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 1-8 otherwise.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  James Rodgers, who  scored a  run and  stole a base while going 2-for-3. The dominant performance also gave  him a new career-high in  RBI (three).  Asher Adams was another key player,  scoring two  runs while going 1-for-3.
 Mt. Vernon-Enola was getting hits left and right  and  finished the game having  posted a batting average of .400. That's the best  batting average they've posted all season.
Meanwhile, Baptist Prep didn't have quite enough to beat White County Central on Friday and fell  7-6.
  Aaron Fielder was cooking despite his team's loss,   scoring a  run and  stealing a base while going 2-for-5. He has been hot recently, having  posted  at least one  stolen base the last three times he's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Nick Boyette, who  went 2-for-4 with one  stolen base and one  RBI.
 Baptist Prep's defeat dropped their record down to 10-4-1. As for Mt. Vernon-Enola, their victory bumped their record up to 3-9.
