Adding to the longest winning streak in 8A District 8 this week, Central beat Centennial 35-13. This was the team's eighth consecutive win.
Central took down the Eagles 35-13 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Vero Beach's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Dalton Stokes threw for 175 and 2 touchdowns and Will Dawkins had 68 yards receiving. On the ground Jason pierre chipped in 62 yards. Jimmy Williamson helped Vero Beach's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 44 yards.
Dawkins was the best wideout in the league this week as the Indians beat Treasure Coast. Dawkins tallied 4 receptions for 68 yards. Williamson helped Vero Beach's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 44 yards.
Vero Beach's offense cannot be tamed this season and the Indians feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Stokes has thrown for 1,616 yards and 18 touchdowns this season, while Williamson has 24 catches for 405 yards.
Josh Shaffer's team led the league in scoring this week after putting up 35 points on Centennial.
