Pine Lake Prep can attribute much of their success to Avery Garrett, who posted 22 points. The dominant performance gave Garrett a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Madelyn Beaver, who earned eight points.

Pine Lake Prep's victory bumped their record up to 5-16. As for Langtree Charter Academy, their defeat was their eighth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 4-16.

Pine Lake Prep didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next matchup, a 37-31 win against Corvian Community on the 11th. As for Langtree Charter Academy, they also wasted no time getting back out on the court and have already played their next game, a 1-0 loss against Community School of Davidson on the 11th.
