Alvin is 0-10 against Dawson since January of 2015 but they'll have a chance to close the gap a little bit on Wednesday. Dawson has been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They fell to Alief Elsik 34-30. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Dawson has scored all season.
Alvin has not been sharp recently as the team has lost 13 of their last 14 matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 9-23 record this season. As for Dawson, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 24-9.
