The Seneca Bobcats will look to take advantage of their home field for the first time this season as they take on the Belton-Honea Path Bears  at 6:00  p.m.  on Tuesday. Belton-Honea Path took a loss in their last  game and will be looking to turn the tables on Seneca, who comes in off a win.
Seneca is coming home in high spirits after they had to open their season on the road against Liberty. Seneca never let Liberty get on the board and left with  an   18-0  victory  on Tuesday. The  win continues a trend for the Bobcats in their matchups with the Red Devils: they've now won three in a row.
 Tyler Vassey made a big impact no matter where he played. On the mound, he  pitched one inning while giving up   no  earned runs or  hits. Vassey was also stellar in the batter's box,  scoring three  runs and  stealing two bases while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 In other batting news,  the team  relied heavily on  Kade Scruggs, who  scored two  runs and  stole two bases while going 2-for-2. Another player making a difference was  Rafael Little, who  scored three  runs and  stole a base while  getting on base  in three of his four plate appearances.
 Meanwhile, Belton-Honea Path unfortunately couldn't capitalize on their home-field advantage in their season opener. They fell just short of Westside by a score of  4-2 on Monday.
 Seneca skirted past Belton-Honea Path  1-0 when the teams last played  back in May of 2023. Does  Seneca have another victory up their sleeve, or will Belton-Honea Path turn the tables on them?  We'll have the answer soon enough.
