The Brookesmith Mustangs will be playing at home against the Cherokee Indians at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Brookesmith has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Brookesmith scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Friday. They blew past Lohn 87-24 on the road. Brookesmith has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 12 matchups by 25 points or more this season.
Brookesmith got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jase Moreno out in front who scored 19 points. Trey Toft was another key contributor, scoring 17 points.
Meanwhile, Cherokee didn't have too much trouble with Bangs at home back in December of 2023 as they won 38-24. The win made it back-to-back wins for Cherokee.
Brookesmith is on a roll lately: they've won 15 of their last 18 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Cherokee, they pushed their record up to 3-3 with that win, which was their eighth straight at home.
Brookesmith beat Cherokee 42-33 in their previous meeting back in December of 2023. Will Brookesmith repeat their success, or does Cherokee have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
