Eleanor Roosevelt has gone 8-2 against Parkdale recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Tuesday. Despite the loss, Eleanor Roosevelt saw an underclassman step up: sophomore McKenzie D'Antignac went 10 of 20 on her way to 20 points and seven boards. D'Antignac is trending in the right direction considering she's improved her point production for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Camille Brandon, who posted ten points and five rebounds.
Meanwhile, Parkdale was able to grind out a solid victory over Suitland on Thursday, taking the game 56-46. Given the Panthers' advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 68th, while the Rams are ranked 203rd), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Eleanor Roosevelt better keep an eye on Hannah Youn. She was instrumental in Parkdale's win, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 22 boards. That's the most points Youn has posted since back in January of 2024. Emily Salas-Aviles was another key player, putting up nine points in addition to five assists and five rebounds.

Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Eleanor Roosevelt has been crashing the boards this season, having averaged 35.1 rebounds per game. However, it's not like Parkdale struggles in that department as they've been averaging 38.2 boards. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Eleanor Roosevelt strolled past Parkdale in their previous meeting back in March of 2024 by a score of 39-21. The rematch might be a little tougher for Eleanor Roosevelt since the squad won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
