Two dominant guards in Ahdiayh Chee and Amya Bekele are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Dobson Mustangs will head out on the road to challenge the Mesa Jackrabbits at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. Dobson is looking to tack on another W to their six-game streak on the road.
Dobson stacked a 15th blowout win onto their ever-increasing hoard on Monday. They took their match on the road with ease, bagging a 78-36 victory over Basha. Given Dobson's advantage in MaxPreps' Arizona basketball rankings (they are ranked 24th, while Basha is ranked 96th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, Mesa didn't have too much trouble with Skyline on the road on Friday as they won 36-19. The victory made it back-to-back wins for Mesa.
Dobson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 11 of their last 12 matches, which provided a nice bump to their 18-7 record this season. As for Mesa, their win bumped their record up to 15-10.
Dobson couldn't quite finish off Mesa in their previous meeting two weeks ago and fell 46-43. Can Dobson avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
