Football Game Preview: Arbor View Aggies vs. Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners

Two dominant signal callers in Priscilla Garcia and Leyla Randolph are getting ready to go toe-to-toe. The Arbor View Aggies will square off against the Southeast Career Tech Roadrunners at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday. One thing working in Arbor View's favor is that they have posted at least 31 points in their last four matches.

Arbor View is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of Nevada's top teams: Centennial, who was ranked 24th at the time (Arbor View was ranked ninth). Arbor View enjoyed a cozy 33-19 victory over Centennial on Wednesday.

Arbor View found their leader in freshman Garcia, who rushed for 40 yards and one touchdown, and also threw for 59 yards and one touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Garcia has posted since back in December of 2024.

Arbor View was unstoppable on the ground and finished the game with 250 rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now rushed for at least 163 rushing yards in four consecutive contests.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Southeast Career Tech, who bounced back after a loss on the road on Thursday. They came out on top against Centennial by a score of 13-6 on Monday.

Arbor View's win was their ninth straight at home dating back to last season, which pushed their record up to 16-8. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 44.6 points per game. As for Southeast Career Tech, they have been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four games, which provided a nice bump to their 19-8 record this season.

Arbor View came up short against Southeast Career Tech in their previous meeting back in January, falling 19-6. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Randolph, who rushed for 112 yards and one touchdown on only 12 carries, and also threw for 85 yards and two touchdowns. Now that Arbor View knows the damage she can cause, will they be able to stop her this time? There's only one way to find out.
