Belt will look to defend their home turf on Friday against Chester-Joplin-Inverness at 7:00 PM. Belt are expected to win -- but not by much -- so they will need to come into the contest prepared for a fight.
If Belt were riding high off their 60-14 takedown of Box Elder two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Belt were given a punishing 12-56 loss at the hands of Great Falls Central/Montana School for the Deaf & Blind. Belt were in a tough position by the half, with the score sitting at 6-28.
Meanwhile, Chester-Joplin-Inverness took the matchup and then some with a 54-0 win last Friday over Cascade.
Chester-Joplin-Inverness's victory lifted them to 2-1 while Belt's defeat dropped them down to 1-2. We'll find out if Chester-Joplin-Inverness can add another positive mark to their record or if Belt can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Chester-Joplin-Inverness's step.
