After a string of three wins, The Caldera 's's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. They took a 21-7 bruising from Summit. Caldera lost against Summit in their previous head to head back in October of 2022, too, but the margin this time around was much closer than the 35-0 score last time.
Summit can attribute much of their success to Sam Stephens, who gained 153 total yards.
Caldera's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Summit, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Caldera does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Summit has the luxury of staying home another week and will welcome Canby at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are ranked near one another in Oregon (Canby is ranked 28th, while Summit is ranked 19th).
