Riverton's game last Saturday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Thursday. Everything went their way against the Bountiful RedHawks as Riverton made off with a 14-1 win. The result was nothing new for the Silverwolves, who have now won four matchups by ten runs or more so far this season.
McKay Linford looked comfortable as he tossed three innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. He has been nothing but reliable on the mound: he hasn't given up more than two hits any time he's pitched this season.
On the hitting side, Bryce Mounteer was a standout: he went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and four RBI. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season. McKade Ortiz was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
