Delavan-Darien had won five straight at home dating back to last season, but on Thursday they bumped up to 8-7 to make it six. They were the clear victors by a 3-0 margin over the East Troy Trojans. The Comets not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since August 26th (when they won 3-0).
Janelle Damrow paced Delavan-Darien's offense, picking up nine kills. Damrow got some help from Elizabeth Zweifel and her 13 assists. Damrow was also solid from the service line: she led the team with four aces.

Loss or not, East Troy got some senior leadership from Carli Murphy and Madi Wojciuch. Murphy had 20 digs and one assist, while Wojciuch had 15 digs and three aces. Those 20 digs set a new season-high mark for Murphy.
