Wasatch (Heber City, Utah) had its advantage, which at one point stood at 10 points, drop to three before the final whistle blew on a 17-14 victory over
Provo (Utah).
After taking the lead on a
Zack Reiss touchdown pass to
Kayden Connor in the first quarter, the Wasps led 17-7 at the half.
Wasatch saw its 10-point halftime lead fall to three entering the fourth.
The defeat comes as a step back for Provo, who notched a 26-23 victory over Mountain View in its previous outing. The win brought Wasatch's winning streak to three games.
