Volleyball Recap: Routt Catholic Puts Losing Streak Behind Them

Routt Catholic came into Saturday's matchup having lost four straight, but that streak is now in the rearview. They walked away with a 2-0 win over the Herscher Tigers on Saturday. This was payback for the Rockets, who suffered a 2-1 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Routt Catholic never let Herscher on the board, but things got pretty close in the second set. The match finished with set scores of 25-18, 28-26.

Routt Catholic's offense was headlined by Meaghan Marshall and Danica Grubb, who picked up four kills apiece. They were helped by Kaylin Rohn and Madi Maro, who contributed six assists each. Maro also made an impact serving: she shared the team lead in aces with Grace Cleveland, each putting up two.

Routt Catholic's victory bumped their record up to 12-17. As for Herscher, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-24.
