The Chazy Eagles will head out on the road to square off against the Bolton Central Eagles at 6:30 p.m. on Monday.
On Friday, Chazy suffered a rough 78-52 defeat at the hands of Keene Central. Chazy has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Meanwhile, Bolton Central waltzed into their match on Friday with five straight wins but they left with six. They blew past Seton Catholic Central 68-23 at home. Bolton Central has made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won seven matches by 37 points or more this season.
Bolton Central got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Jace Hubert out in front who scored 20 points. The team also got some help courtesy of Tyler Trowbridge, who scored 12 points.
Chazy has traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 7-7 record this season. As for Bolton Central, their win was their third straight at home, which pushed their record up to 12-5.
Chazy came up short against Bolton Central when the teams last played back in January of 2023, falling 45-39. Can Chazy avenge their defeat or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
