 The  win  made it two in a row for Branham and  bumps their season record up to 9-6. As for Gilroy, their loss  ended  a  three-game streak of away wins  and  brought them to 9-4.
 Branham will head out on the road to  challenge  Westmont at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Westmont hasn't scored more than two runs for five games straight, a trend the  team is eager to reverse. As for Gilroy, they will be playing at home against Live Oak at 4:00  p.m.  on Friday. Both teams have allowed few  runs on average, (Live Oak: 4.1, Gilroy: 3.2) so any  runs scored will be well earned.
