The Community Christian Cyclones will take on the Wayne Preparatory Academy Generals at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Community Christian is strutting in with some hitting muscle as they've averaged 8.3 runs per game this season.
Community Christian is headed in fresh off scoring the most runs they have all season. They blew past New Life Christian Academy 20-1 on Friday. The win was nothing new for the Cyclones as they're now sitting on three straight.

Tyler Spivey made a big impact while hitting and pitching. He didn't allow a single earned run and allowed only one hit while striking out six over four innings pitched. He has been consistent recently: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in three consecutive appearances. He was also solid in the batter's box, scoring a run while going 2-for-5. What's more, he posted three RBI, the most he's had since back in April of 2024.
In other batting news, Community Christian got a big performance out of Jack Beamon, who went 2-for-3 with one triple, two RBI, and one run. Tanner Pierce was another key player, scoring three runs and stealing two bases while getting on base in three of his five plate appearances.
Community Christian was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .481. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post a batting average of .375 or better.
Meanwhile, Wayne Preparatory Academy lost 7-1 to Community Christian on Monday. The Generals have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Wayne Preparatory Academy saw five different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was TRENT SHEPPARD, who went 1-for-3 with one stolen base and one RBI.
Wayne Preparatory Academy's loss dropped their record down to 2-5. As for Community Christian, they now have a winning record of 5-4.
Tuesday's game might come down to which pitcher can control the ball better. Community Christian has hit smart this season, having averaged an OBP of .466. However, it's not like Wayne Preparatory Academy struggles in that department as they've averaged .503. With both teams so capable at the plate, fans should be ready for an impressive hitting performance.
