Dover had to travel to play their first game of the season, but the final result was worth the trip. They blew past the Minerva Lions 11-1 on Friday. With Dover ahead 7-1 at the half, the contest was all but over already.

Looking ahead, Dover is taking a road trip to square off against Louisville at 7:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Minerva, they will have a little extra prep time after the loss as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on Harrison Central at 6:30 p.m. on the 26th.
