Sullivan North had a rough outing against South Greene last week, but a little bit of home cooking seems to have fixed things right up. Sullivan North steamrollered Unaka 49-14. That result was just more of the same for Sullivan North, who also won the last time these teams played.
The contest started off well for Sullivan North, whose offense put up 28 first-half points. Meanwhile, Unaka couldn't get anything going offensively, leaving the score at 28-0 heading into the break. The Sullivan North defense stood its ground in the third quarter, giving up 8 and all but finishing the game. The win bumped Sullivan North's record up to 5-1. The defeat dropped Unaka's record to 1-4.
Next week Sullivan North take on Hampton at 7:30 PM. Sullivan North will be strutting in after a victory while Hampton will be stumbling in from a loss. As for Unaka, they will face off against Cloudland. Unaka stagger into the match hobbled by four consecutive losses while Cloudland skip in buoyed by three consecutive wins.
