New Life Camp walked away with a 68-57 victory over Chatham HomeSchool. That's another feather in the cap for New Life Camp, who also won these teams' last head-to-head.
It was another big night for Julia Edwards, who scored 26 points along with 8 rebounds and 4 steals. That makes it three consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of New Life Camp's points. Hannah Brown was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with 5 rebounds.
New Life Camp's win bumped their record up to 3-1. As for Chatham HomeSchool, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-2.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. New Life Camp will challenge Greenfield at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Greenfield will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps North Carolina Rankings (they are ranked 345th, while New Life Camp is ranked 59th). Chatham HomeSchool will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Guilford Home Educators at 6:30 p.m. on December 12th.
