Tintic is 0-6 against Tabiona since February of 2015 but things could change on Friday. The Tintic Miners will welcome the Tabiona Tigers at 5:30 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, both will really light up the scoreboard.
Tintic is headed in fresh off scoring the most points they have all season. They enjoyed a cozy 77-62 win over Altamont on Saturday. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Miners.

Tintic's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Hagen Barton, who went 7 for 12 en route to 19 points. The dominant performance gave Barton a new career-high in points. The team also got some help courtesy of Stockton Hansen, who went 6 of 11 on his way to 17 points and eight boards.
Tintic was working as a unit and finished the game with 27 assists. That's the most assists they've managed all season.
Meanwhile, Tabiona entered their tilt with Manila on Saturday with five consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with six. They came out on top against the Mustangs by a score of 65-56.
Tintic better keep an eye on Gavin Rhoades. He was instrumental in Tabiona's win, dropping a double-double on 30 points and 13 rebounds. Rhoades has been hot, having posted eight or more boards the last eight times he's played. Cayse Thomas was another key player, putting up 11 points.
Tabiona is on a roll lately: they've won 13 of their last 14 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 16-3 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 62.5 points per game. As for Tintic, their victory bumped their record up to 12-6.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Tintic has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 29.7 boards per game. However, it's not like Tabiona struggles in that department as they've been averaging 30.5 rebounds. With both teams battling to corral missed shots, we'll see if one team can grab an edge.
Tintic came up short against Tabiona when the teams last played back in January, falling 60-53. Will Tintic have more luck at home instead of on the road? Check MaxPreps after the action for a full breakdown of the game and more basketball content.
