The Northeast Raiders won the last time they faced the Rutland Hurricanes, and things went their way  on Friday too. Northeast simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Rutland 55-27 on the road. The  matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached  35-10.
 Northeast found their leader in underclassman  Jada Smith, who  scored 23 points along with five  steals. That makes it five consecutive games in which  Smith has scored at least a third of Northeast's points. The team also got some help courtesy of  Destinee Waller, who  scored ten points along with six  steals.
 Northeast's victory bumped their record up to 10-14. As for Rutland, they are  on  a  ten-game losing streak  that has dropped them down to 1-23.
 Northeast does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Rutland also has no future games currently scheduled.
