The Lake Hamilton Wolves will head out on the road to square off against the Lakeside Rams at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Each of these teams will be battling to keep a three-game winning streak alive.
Last Tuesday, Lake Hamilton was able to grind out a solid victory over the Yellowjackets, taking the game 58-46.
Meanwhile, Lakeside blew past the Zebras, posting a 69-34 victory at home. Given Lakeside's advantage in MaxPreps' Arkansas basketball rankings (they are ranked 64th, while the Zebras are ranked 219th), the result on Friday wasn't entirely unexpected.
It was another big night for Mckenzie Williams, who scored 26 points along with five assists and four steals. She hasn't dropped below two steals for three straight games. The team also got some help courtesy of Amelia Rogers, who scored 23 points along with five rebounds and four steals.
Lake Hamilton has been performing well recently as they've won nine of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 15-6 record this season. As for Lakeside, their victory was their eighth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-8.
Everything came up roses for Lake Hamilton against the Rams in their previous meeting back in January as the squad secured a 74-44 win. The rematch might be a little tougher for Lake Hamilton since the team won't have the home-court advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
