Upper Cape Cod RVT came tearing into Tuesday's game with four straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 7.8 runs), and they left with even more momentum. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Bristol County Agricultural Chieftains a 14-0 shutout. The result was nothing new for the Rams, who have now won six matches by eight runs or more so far this season.

Upper Cape Cod RVT's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 10-4-1. Those road wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.5 runs on average over those games. As for Bristol County Agricultural, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 1-8.
