Tri-State Christian suffered their biggest loss since November 30, 2023 on Friday. They ended up on the wrong side of a rough 67-43 walloping at the hands of Quad Cities Christian. Tri-State Christian was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 44-20.
The losing side was boosted by Will Cunningham, who scored 13 points along with six rebounds and five blocks. The team also got some help courtesy of Nick Vannorsdel, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Faith Christian had already won eight in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 28.6 points), and they went ahead and made it nine on Thursday. They walked away with a 46-34 victory over Parkview Christian Academy. Despite the win, that was the fewest points Faith Christian has scored all year.
Tri-State Christian's loss ended a five-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 7-3. As for Faith Christian, their victory was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 9-1.
