The East Robertson Indians had already won four in a row (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14.5 points), and they went ahead and made it five on Tuesday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 56-53 victory over Todd County Central. For East Robertson, this counts as revenge for the 57-55 defeat the Rebels walked away with the last time they faced one another back in December of 2018.
Despite the loss, Todd County Central still got an impressive performance from Jamison Glass, who dropped a double-double on 29 points and 11 rebounds. Another player making a difference was Zack Robinson, who scored six points along with six rebounds and two steals.
East Robertson has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won ten of their last 11 games, which provided a nice bump to their 13-8 record this season. As for Todd County Central, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-11.
East Robertson will head out on the road to face off against the Bobcats at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. The matchup should be an exciting one, as these teams are closely ranked in Tennessee (Greenbrier is ranked 194th, while the Indians are ranked 177th). As for Todd County Central, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against the Cougars at 7:00 p.m. Logan County and the Rebels are at an even 5-5 over their past ten head-to-heads.
