Columbia County Christian can now show off 13 landslide victories after their most recent matchup on Tuesday. They breezed by Juniata Christian at home to the tune of 61-23. Winning may never get old, but Columbia County Christian sure is getting used to it with their fourth in a row.
Columbia County Christian found their leader in underclassman Pierce Cughan, who scored 17 points along with six steals and five assists. Cughan is on a roll when it comes to steals, as he's now grabbed three or more in the last eight games he's played. The team also got some help courtesy of Clay Farley, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and three blocks.
Columbia County Christian has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won 15 of their last 18 contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. As for Juniata Christian, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-11.
Columbia County Christian will play host again and welcome Belleville Mennonite, where tip off is scheduled for 7:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully Columbia County Christian focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up ten on Tuesday. Juniata Christian's road trip will continue as they head out to face Columbia Montour Vo-Tech at 7:30 p.m. on February 8th.
