Keansburg got themselves on the board against Point Pleasant Beach last Friday, but Point Pleasant Beach never followed suit. Keansburg were the clear victor by a 32-0 margin over Point Pleasant Beach. The success represented a nice turnaround for Keansburg, who in their last game suffered a tough 0-35 loss.
Meanwhile, after a big victory against Manchester Township two weeks ago, Keyport/Hudson Regional came back down to earth. Keyport/Hudson Regional took a serious blow against Holmdel, falling 0-42.
Keansburg's victory lifted them to 2-2 while Keyport/Hudson Regional's defeat dropped them down to 2-2. We'll find out if Keansburg can add another positive mark to their record or if Keyport/Hudson Regional can shake off the defeat and take the spring out of Keansburg's step.
