It's hard to turn regular season success into postseason wins, a fact the Cloverdale Clovers can now relate to. They were beaten by the Wolves 53-14 on Wednesday. Cloverdale's loss continues an unfortunate trend for the squad, making it 11 in a row.
Emma Simpson continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines for Parke Heritage, dropping a triple-double on 28 points, 13 rebounds, and 14 steals. Simpson has been hot recently, having posted two or more steals the last 19 times she's played. Another player making a difference was Addison Jenkins, who scored 12 points along with five rebounds and two steals.
Cloverdale's defeat dropped their record down to 2-22. As for Parke Heritage, the victory (which was their 15th in a row) raised their record to 21-3.
Cloverdale does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Parke Heritage will square off against the Mounties at 7:30 p.m. on Friday. That match will pit two of the most dominant guards against one another: Delorean Mason and Simpson.
