Columbia Montour Vo-Tech  took care of business in their home opener  on Saturday (and then some). They blew past the Shenandoah Valley Blue Devils 48-17 at home. Winning may never get old, but the Rams sure are getting used to it with their fifth in a row dating back to last season.
  Braxtyn Brown had a dynamite game for Columbia Montour Vo-Tech, rushing for 325 yards and a touchdown while picking up 12.0 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of  Mason Haught, who rushed for 72 yards and three touchdowns.
 Haught wasn't the only one working in the  rushing yards department: Columbia Montour Vo-Tech was unstoppable on the ground and  finished the game with 453  rushing yards. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now  rushed for at least 171  rushing yards in seven consecutive  matches  dating back to last season.
 Columbia Montour Vo-Tech didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off two passes before the game was over. In fact, those interceptions all came courtesy of defensive juggernaut  Myles Koser.
 Shenandoah Valley lost  despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being   Jonnuel Reyes, who rushed for 60 yards and a touchdown on only six carries.
 Columbia Montour Vo-Tech will square off against Morrisville at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. As for Shenandoah Valley, they will be playing at home against Minersville  at 7:00  p.m.  on Friday. Shenandoah Valley is looking for their season?s first  win.
