Baseball Recap: Abington Heights Picks Up Third Consecutive Win

Abington Heights got themselves on the board against Valley View on Friday, but Valley View never followed suit. They were the clear victors by a 15-0 margin over the Cougars. The Comets might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team has won four matchups by six runs or more this season.

Abington Heights got a massive performance out of Thomas LaCoe, who went 2-for-4 with three RBI, two runs, and one triple. The team also got some help courtesy of Finn Goldberg, who went a perfect 1-for-1 with three RBI, one triple, and one stolen base.

The victory (which was Abington Heights' third in a row) raised their record to 6-1. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.0 run on average over those games. As for Valley View, they dropped their record down to 1-4 with the loss, which was their third straight at home.
