After flying high against the Lighthouse Christian Academy Lions back in December of 2023, the Christian Academy of Madison Defenders came back down to earth. Christian Academy of Madison took a 39-35 hit to the loss column at the hands of Crothersville. Christian Academy of Madison lost against Crothersville in their previous head to head back in January of 2023, too, but the margin this time around was much wider than the 63-62 score last time.
Crothersville's win on Thursday was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Beau Napier, who scored 12 points. Another player making a difference was Logen O'sullivan, who scored two points along with nine rebounds and four steals.
Christian Academy of Madison's loss dropped their record down to 5-3. As for Crothersville, the win makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 4-6.
Christian Academy of Madison won't have much time to rest: their next game is against Varsity Opponent on January 5th. As for Crothersville, they will be playing in front of their home fans against South Central at 7:30 p.m. on January 12th.
