On Friday, the WF West Bearcats's game was all tied up 22-22 at the half, but luckily for them it didn't stay that way. They walked away with a 56-49 win over Black Hills. This was payback for WF West, who suffered a 67-66 defeat the last time these two teams met.
WF West got their victory on the backs of several key players, but it was Tyler Klatush out in front who scored 19 points. That makes it three consecutive games in which Klatush has scored at least 25% of WF West's points. Lucas Hoff was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with eight rebounds.
WF West now has a winning record of 3-2. As for Black Hills, they are on a three-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 2-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. WF West will take on Port Angeles at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Port Angeles has been dominant on offense recently, as they've racked up an incredible 304 points over their last four games. Black Hills' road trip will continue as they head out to face Bremerton at 7:00 p.m. on December 18th. Bremerton is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
