Richmond can bid farewell to their four-game losing streak thanks to their game on Thursday. Their pitchers stepped up to hand the Lexington Minutemen a 10-0 shutout. The Spartans not only won on Thursday, but they posted their biggest win since March 29th (when they won 20-7).

Richmond's win bumped their record up to 4-9. As for Lexington, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost five of their last six contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season.

Richmond and Lexington could both be facing uphill battles in their next games considering their disadvantage in the MaxPreps Missouri Rankings. The Spartans will face off against Lawson at 4:30 p.m. on Monday with a big rank disadvantage (349 vs. 41). Meanwhile, Lexington (ranked 370th) will meet Knob Noster (ranked 172nd) at 4:30 p.m. on Monday.
