After only one run in their last game, Mar Vista made sure to put some runs up on the board against Chula Vista on Friday. The Mariners walked away with a 10-7 victory over the Spartans. Considering the Mariners' hitters had been struggling lately, the high-scoring outing was a much-needed turnaround.

Mar Vista is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 7-13 record this season. Those wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 3.0 runs on average over those games.
