The Knox Redskins lost against the North Judson-San Pierre Bluejays back in December of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. Knox fell 54-46 to North Judson-San Pierre. The defeat unfortunately continues a disappointing trend for Knox in their matchups with North Judson-San Pierre: they've now lost three in a row.
Despite the defeat, Knox saw an underclassman step up: Myles Mclaughlin scored 17 points along with six rebounds. Another player making a difference was Logan A taylor, who scored nine points along with five rebounds.
Even though they lost, Knox smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 18 offensive rebounds. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.
Knox's defeat ended an eight-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 3-6. As for North Judson-San Pierre, their victory bumped their record up to 10-3.
Knox will be playing at home against Washington Township at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. As for North Judson-San Pierre, they will head out on the road to take on Winamac at 8:00 p.m. on Thursday. Hopefully Winamac focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up seven on Saturday.
