The R.J. Reynolds Demons won the last time they faced the East Forsyth Eagles, and things went their way on Wednesday too. R.J. Reynolds strolled past East Forsyth with points to spare, taking the game 44-30. The win made it back-to-back wins for R.J. Reynolds.
Elliott Jessup continued her habit of posting crazy stat lines, scoring 24 points along with five rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points she has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Ariana Burns, who scored ten points.
R.J. Reynolds pushed their record up to 7-7 with that victory, which was their third straight on the road. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 52.3 points per game. As for East Forsyth, they are on a nine-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. R.J. Reynolds will take on West Forsyth at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Hopefully West Forsyth focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 23 last Friday. As for East Forsyth, they will look to defend their home court on Friday against Glenn at 6:00 p.m. Glenn has now lost 11 straight, and the team is hunting for their first win since November 18.
