The Moore County Raiders put another one in the bag on Thursday to keep their perfect season alive. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Richland 49-13 at home. The result was nothing new for Moore County, who have now won nine matches by 20 points or more so far this season.
Dawson White continued his habit of posting crazy stat lines, rushing for 77 yards and three touchdowns on only eight carries, while also throwing for 227 yards and two touchdowns while completing 73.7% of his passes.
Moore County's win was their 11th straight at home (dating back to last season), bumping their overall record up to 10-0. That said, the team wasn't facing the toughest opposition over that stretch, as it included 2-8 Huntland and 2-8 Huntland (their opponents had an average overall winning percentage of 40.5% over those games). As for Richland, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 3-7.
Moore County will be playing at home against Houston County at 7:00 p.m. on November 3rd. Houston County will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Tennessee Rankings (they are ranked 292nd, while Moore County is ranked 70th). Richland does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
