Jordan has enjoyed the comforts of home their last three games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on the Northeast Raiders at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday. Jordan has been getting the ball to fall more lately as they've increased their point totals each of their last three games.
Jordan pushed their score all the way to 63 on Tuesday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They were just a bucket shy of victory and fell 64-63 to Rutland. Despite running the score up even higher than they did in their prior game last Saturday (55), Jordan still had to take the loss.
Meanwhile, Northeast pushed their score all the way to 55 on Friday, but even that wasn't enough to win. They took a 59-55 hit to the loss column at the hands of Spencer. While losing is never fun, Northeast can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Georgia basketball rankings (they are ranked 482nd, while the Greenwave are ranked 165th).
Jordan dropped their record down to 2-19 with that defeat, which was their third straight at home. Even worse, they were so close so many times: the losses came by an average of only two points. As for Northeast, their loss dropped their record down to 5-18.
Jordan barely slipped by the Raiders in their previous matchup back in January, winning 51-50. One of the biggest obstacles the team faced in that game was Northeast's Amani Brown, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and ten rebounds. Now that he's got a second chance to win this matchup, will Jordan still be able to contain Brown? There's only one way to find out.
