Middletown North has enjoyed the comforts of home their last two games, but now they'll head out on the road. They will take on The Marlboro Mustangs at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Middletown North will be strutting in after a win while Marlboro will be coming in after a defeat.
Last Thursday, Middletown North earned a 17-10 win over Brick Township.
Meanwhile, after a string of six wins, Marlboro's good fortune finally ran out on Friday. Their rough 24-3 loss to Rumson-Fair Haven might stick with them for a while.
Middletown North now has a winning record of 4-3. Having lost for the first time this season, Marlboro fell to 6-1.
Middletown North came up short against Marlboro when the teams last played back in November of 2021, falling 12-6. Can Middletown North avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
