Basketball Recap: Avery Collins Leads a Balanced Attack to Beat North East

Erie First Christian Academy hadn't done well against North East recently (they were 2-7 in their previous nine matchups), but they didn't let the past get in their way on Monday. Erie First Christian Academy secured a 68-62 W over the North East Grape Pickers. This was payback for Erie First Christian Academy, who suffered a 66-58 defeat the last time these two teams met.

Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead Erie First Christian Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than Avery Collins, who posted 29 points and six rebounds. Collins' afternoon made it 11 games in a row in which he has scored at least ten points. Ayden Blum was another key player, putting up 21 points.

Erie First Christian Academy is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four contests, which provided a massive bump to their 4-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 67.3 points per game. As for North East, their loss dropped their record down to 2-4.
