Ruston's game on Thursday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Monday. They sure made it a nail-biter, but they managed to escape with a 2-1 victory over the Northwood Falcons. For Ruston, this counts as revenge for the 4-2 win Northwood walked away with the last time they faced one another back in November of 2023.

Ruston is on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups. That's provided a nice bump to their 4-2 record this season. As for Northwood, they now have a losing record of 3-4-1.
