Adding to the longest winning streak in Philadelphia Public - AA/A this week, Imhotep Charter beat Prep Charter 53-7. This was the team's fourth consecutive win.
Prep Charter fell to Imhotep Charter 53-7 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Al Crosby's team's offense was unstoppable this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Andre Dreuitt threw for 109 and 3 touchdowns and Nasir Lewis had 69 yards receiving. On the ground Mukhtar Larke chipped in 69 yards. Denniston 'DJ' Moore helped Imhotep Charter's passing attack out by catching 3 balls for 39 yards.
Larke was the best running back in the league this week. In 3 carries, he ran for 69 yards as the Panthers topped David Hand's team. Nasir Bonner also contributed to the rushing game with 40 yards on the ground.
On the heels of Dreuitt and Bonner, Imhotep Charter has had great success on offense. Dreuitt leads the league in passing with 1,163 yards, while Bonner has rushed for 648 yards this season. Prep Charter's Curan Simmons leads the league in receiving yards with 698 on 35 catches.
The Panthers led the league in scoring this week by notching 53 points on Prep Charter. Dreuitt in the win.
