Several Spartans players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Henry Napper, who posted 15 points in addition to eight rebounds and five assists. Those five assists gave Napper a new career-high. Another player making a difference was Carson Duffield, who dropped a double-double on 14 points and ten boards.
Saranac's loss dropped their record down to 3-7. As for Northeastern Clinton, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 6-4.
Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Saranac will square off against Moriah at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
