With a playoff win on the line, Bearden rose to the challenge on Thursday. They took their match with ease, bagging a 59-24 victory over the Whitehaven Tigers. The Bulldogs have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 games by 21 points or more this season.

Bearden pushed their record up to 33-5 with the win, which was their 19th straight at home dating back to last season. As for Whitehaven, their defeat ended a six-game streak of away wins and brought them to 20-9.
